In addition to healthy eating, exercise is very important to a healthy lifestyle. I do home workouts with weights and simple pilates equipment (foam roller, therabands, yoga tune-up balls) about 5-6 days a week and try to incorporate hiking or kayaking to my routine. My favorite fitness Youtubers are Blogilates, Rebecca-Louise and Popsugar Fitness. Since March 2017, I’ve started the doing Kayla Itsines’ BBG workouts and I’ve been loving them.

Additionally, I enjoy running. Since I started running in September 2013, I’ve completed the following races:

March 7, 2016 Marathon – An unsanctioned run (I basically ran a 26.2 miles in my neighborhood)

March 14, 2015 5k for a charity –  This was my first sanctioned race and it was lots of fun. If you’re a beginner runner looking for an event or race, I highly recommend finding a charity race in your community.
